Definition

§ A text-based Web editor is a basic editor where you work with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) tags to create a Web page.

§ It can be used to change HTML source codes.

§ WYSIWYG is an acronym for What You See Is What You Get.

§ WYSIWYG web editors provide an editing interface that shows how the pages will be displayed in a web browser.
